Regional Regulatory Affairs Expert for Insect Repellent

Role:
This position requires the coordination and execution of Regulatory Affairs tasks for our product portfolio. The focus is Insect repellent active ingredient and Insect repellent formulations. It is required that Biocidal, Chemical, Pesticidal, Pharmaceutical, and Cosmetic Regulations are managed (depending on the applicable regulation in the target country).
The role is regional and will be placed in regional headquarter in China. Countries like India, Bangladesh, Taiwan, Malaysia etc. are to be covered.
A solid understanding of intellectual property protection and licensing agreements is helpful and will have to be developed to secure long-term business success.
Internal collaboration with your peers and with colleagues in Product Management and Sales will be key. In terms of external contacts, the Regional Regulatory Affairs Expert will be the key contact with authorities, industry groups, and - together with Sales colleagues - to customers.
Required education and expertise:

Master's Degree or above in natural sciences or chemical engineering.

Minimum 4 years professional experience in a customer-facing environment.

Professional experience in Regulatory Affairs.

High level of customer focus, self-motivated and passionate in networking.

Very good analytical skills, process-oriented thinking as well as structured way of working and a solution-oriented, creative mindset.

Strong interpersonal communication and written skills, proactive problem-solving and trouble shooting skills.

Capability to manage and deliver in a matrix environment and ability to interact cross-functionally in a global environment.

Effective negotiation, communication, and presentation skills (verbal and writing) in English. Other Asian languages are an asset.
