Your role:
We are looking for a hands-on Interim Sourcing Manager to strengthen our sourcing team during a transition and build-up phase. The role will support both direct and indirect sourcing activities, focusing on data analysis, supplier coordination, administrative support, and SAP-related activities, including testing and master data support.
As Susonity is a newly independent organization, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic, execution-oriented environment, is comfortable with changing priorities, and can reliably support sourcing managers with day-to-day operational and analytical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support sourcing managers in direct and indirect sourcing activities, including RFX preparation as well as coordinating sustainability topics (e.g. Eco Vadis coordination).
- Coordinate supplier communication, collect and compare offers, and manage follow-ups. Maintain and update supplier master data, sourcing documentation, trackers, and governance files.
- Prepare basic spending analyses, price comparisons, bid summaries, and ad hoc market overviews to support sourcing decisions.
- Consolidate and analyze sourcing data from SAP and other tools into Excel-based reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Provide administrative support to sourcing projects, including documentation, approvals, filing, and internal presentations.
Support SAP-related activities, including master data validation and corrections, testing of procurement and sourcing processes, and support during system implementation or changes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, or similar (or equivalent practical experience).
- More than 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or a related operational role.
- Experience in indirect/direct sourcing, with both consider as advantage
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with Excel.
- Experience working with SAP (mandatory);
- Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented working style.
- Comfortable working in an evolving environment with changing priorities.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
