Q: What is it like to be part of our Talent Acquisition team?

A: Being part of the Talent Acquisition team goes far beyond just being a 9-5 job. Fueled by purpose and rewarded by personal fulfillment, we offer more than just standard career opportunities. Q: What type of positions do you recruit?

A: Healthcare, Life Science, and Performance Materials are our core businesses, which are supported by our Group functions (HR, IT, Finance). In all three sectors, we offer specialized and high-quality products and in order to do this, we must have the most curious minds. We focus on attracting and selecting people from a wide range of expertise, from corporate functions to scientific and more specialized roles.

Q: Approximately how much time it takes to fill an open position?

A: Our time to fill depends on the complexity, type of position, work location and the number of interviewers participating in the hiring process; please be sure that our recruiters will be in touch with you to give you a follow up of the process you are participating on in a timely manner.

Q: Are there opportunities for development in Talent Acquisition?

A: We invest in the development of all of our people, because our fundamental belief is that everyone has talent. We are convinced that a large part of your learning is done on the job. We trust you with responsibility and appreciate those who want to seek new horizons, e.g. by taking over areas you were not yet acquainted with or the lead in larger projects. There are many paths you can chose, and we want to do everything we can to help you fulfil your ambitions and reach your professional goals. Depending on your personal ambitions, we encourage you to take on new challenges and support you in developing your skills. You can develop your career as HR BP, Talent Development Expert/Manager or more operational HR  positions.

Q: What type of background and experience does a Talent Acquisition Expert retain?

A: We value candidate’s soft skills as much as hard skills. Having had an experience as Researcher or Consultant in international hiring agencies and/or as an in-house recruiter with global firms – within the competition or not – is a good way but not the only path to join our Talent Acquisition team.
