Associate Scientist

Your Role:

Performs IHC, ELISA, and any other relevant tests as needed to conduct product development testing.

Assists with establishing, maintaining, and updating the Design History Files (DHF)  for new and/or existing products. 

Performs published literature reviews.  Identifies and documents published clones, published protocols, etc as required.

Provides technical support on developing new and improving existing IHC reagent processes and products. Conducts organized development testing to generate support data for new potential products or changes to current products.

Research and development of new products 

Generation of DHF documentation

Product Verification testing

Preparation of material for Transfer

Communicates information to all affected functional groups to ensure successful transfers of projects from R&D to operations.

Generates and/or updates work instructions.

Develops and delivers technical presentations as needed.

Performs laboratory housekeeping, equipment, and calibration on equipment used in within R&D activities according to required schedules


Who You Are:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in life science is required.
  • 1+ years of experience in a related field required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Federal Drug Administration (FDA) or comparable standard regulated biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with the proper use of general laboratory equipment such as micropipettes, centrifuges, vortexes, balances, microscope, etc. and knowledge or experience with equipment in a regulated laboratory environment, including the ability to use a tissue processor, autostainer, coverslipper and other IHC equipment is desirable
