Senior Strategic Program Manager

Your role:

  • Owns global PPM tool to ensure visibility of project resources and internal resource constraints.
  • Drives completion of project timelines and resource requirements.
  • Provides global view of external and internal project execution and helps prioritize execution based on resource availability.
  • Identifies projects at risk of delivery and drives proactive solutions.
  • Manages regular business reviews for project execution and expected completion/delivery.
  • Manages approval of internal projects into stagegate process and through each stagegate check.
  • Responsible for coordinating, driving, and managing service delivery issues through internal alignment to a solution and timeline with owners and talking points; resulting in an internal and external communication to stakeholders.
  • Initiates proactive discussions with external clients and internal stakeholders to align on expectations and develop relationships.
  • Assembles and reports metrics around delivery, timelines, risks, and solutions through regular performance and status reports.

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with 4+ years’ experience managing complex business, commercial, or operations projects in Life Science or Pharmaceutical industry. 
  • Excellent project management skills including defining project tasks, plans and resource requirements, e.g. on-boarding, kickoff meeting, communication plan, standardized/template minutes, agenda, timetables, pre-meetings, project plans, scope documents, risk registers/FMEA, Gantt charts, Work Breakdown Structure.
  • Excellent fundamental process improvement skills: planning, organizing, attention to detail, managing competing priorities, analytical and systems thinking. 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Existing project management certificate (PMI or equivalent).
  • Post graduate business degree.
  • Action oriented, self-motivated, and highly-organized with a high-level drive for results and perseverance with minimal direction.
  • Clear communicator with strong ability to influence, lead, and manage a team of diverse stakeholders, including executives.
