Your Role
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all maintenance functions to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of the Allentown distribution center. This role ensures facility standards are met through effective resource allocation, safety leadership, and vendor management. Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Ensure all site operations remain in compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations
- Manage and organize all facility-related maintenance and third-party service contracts, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, and security
- Establish maintenance schedules, identify resource needs, and track equipment reliability across the site
- Review facility needs with management, allocate resources, and recommend improvements to existing operational standards
- Take ownership of safety processes and perform regular audits for Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Fall Protection, and PPE programs
- Lead facility construction projects, remodels, and specialized technical assignments
- Coordinate and facilitate technical training for facility staff
- Follow all company policies and procedures while monitoring and controlling inventory for supplies and equipment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move about the facility, including standing or walking for extended periods
- Ability to position oneself to operate tools and equipment, including stooping, kneeling, or crouching
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety shoes, eye/hearing protection, and safety harnesses
- Visual acuity (with or without corrective lenses) to inspect equipment and perform technical tasks
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED AND 2+ years of experience as a maintenance technician, engineer, or in a construction role AND 1+ year(s) of experience in a formal supervisory or lead role
OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or other technical discipline AND 2+ years of experience as a maintenance technician, engineer, or in a construction role
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Prior experience managing maintenance teams in a distribution or manufacturing environment
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- Ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment
RSREMD
Pay Range for this position - $98,600 - $153,700/annually
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
