Maintenance Technician

Your Role:

In this role, you will maintain and install equipment, facilities, and utility systems.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Complete assigned work orders (P.M. tasks).
• Corrective and Preventive Maintenance of equipment, facilities and other utility systems.
• Availability for weekend and holiday on-call and after-hours duty.
• Identifies unsafe work conditions, reports and follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, basic shop tools (grinder, drill press, sand blaster, band saw, etc.), and forklift/man lift.
• Read blueprints and other schematics.
• Help with process improvement, miscellaneous duties and other tasks as assigned.
• Utilizes the Management of Change Process and Non-Conformance Report for changes.
• Available for work related travel.

Physical Attributes:

·       Walk long distances and stand for the duration of the shift, up to 8 hours.

·       Lift up to 50 pounds. 

·       Work from ladders or scissor lifts up to 40 feet high.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 1+ years’ experience in a Maintenance, Mechanical, or Electrical industry.
• Possesses applicable licenses in HVAC, electrical, instrumentation, or mechanical discipline.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Trade school degree and/or technical degree.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment, understand materials of construction and chemical compatibility.
• Experience with Ohm's law, AC/DC, Parallel and Series circuits, Industrial Electricity.
• Experience with electrical safety (grounding, are flash, etc.), install and repair lighting systems.
• Experience with threading and bending conduit and properly size conduit and wire per the NEC.
