Your Role: 

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing OT systems that control and monitor industrial processes across global manufacturing and R&D sites. A key focus of your role will be integrating OT systems with corporate IT, ensuring seamless data flow, interoperability, and alignment with global standards. 

You will support the modernization of OT infrastructure by migrating legacy systems to advanced digital platforms and integrating key OT systems like SCADA, DCS, Data historians, LIMS, and others.  

You will be responsible for overseeing the secure implementation and management of IT/OT infrastructure across multiple regional sites. This includes ensuring the effective deployment and integration of OT systems with the corporate IT network in alignment with global standards. Additionally, you will guide local teams in migrating legacy systems to modern digital plant infrastructure. You will also support the management of the OT system lifecycle, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and operational standards. In this role, you will act as a liaison between regional sites and global strategies by gathering site-specific requirements. Lastly, you will facilitate training for site staff on best practices in OT system management and compliance. You will also be supporting OT systems audit and compliance. 

There is a 25% travel expectation for this role, both domestic and international travel. 

This role is hybrid and you are required to be onsite in Allentown, PA for a portion of the week.

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, automation, or electrical engineering or equivalent 

  • 5+ years’ experience in OT system design and project execution of digitalization projects 

  • Advanced knowledge in OT infrastructure design, software engineering and IT security 

  • Experience in configuring & operating virtual machine and virtual network technology (VMs, VLANs) 

  • Experience in managing Firewalls, Storage devices, Active Directories, physical networks

  • Hands on experience in configuration, installation, diagnosis, & maintenance of OT systems hardware and software 

  • Basic Project management skills: Planning/Scheduling, budgeting, work progress tracking, reporting, risk/issues, and escalation management

  • Ability to work on global, cross functional teams

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in implementing layers of protection for cyber security, OT, and IT 

  • CCNA Certificate

  • GICSP or related Cyber Security Certificate(s)

  • Basic knowledge in planning & programming DCS, PLC (Siemens, Rockwell, GE or similar)

  • Advanced degree in computer science, automation, electrical engineering, or related field is preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
