Your Role
The Operations Team Lead (Distribution) plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations and activities within the distribution center environment. Responsibilities involve leading a team of associates, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining a high standard of productivity and safety. Key Responsibilities include:
- Supervise and support floor associates by providing guidance and training to foster a positive, collaborative, and safe work environment
- Oversee daily receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, adjusting staffing levels dynamically to hit productivity goals
- Implement quality control measures, enforce safety standards, and conduct regular audits to ensure high order accuracy
- Assist with cycle counts and coordinate with inventory teams to maintain stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies
- Analyze and track performance metrics to drive continuous improvement while coordinating with logistics and management
Physical Attributes:
- Lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods of time
- Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years in a distribution center or warehouse environment
- 5+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP or Oracle experience
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a diverse team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and software (e.g., WMS)
- Understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations
Pay Range for this position - $28.00 - $44.00/Hour
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
