Your Role:

The Test Technician/Inspector will perform visual and dimensional measurement inspection of raw material components as well as helium leak testing and gas purity analysis of equipment manufactured by SEMC Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing Center.

  • Helium leak testing
  • Troubleshooting
  • Repair/inspection of components
  • Gas purity certification of components and final assemblies

 

Physical Attributes:

  • Work in a cleanroom work environment and wear PPE such as a cleanroom hair cover, face cover, cleanroom smock with Latex or Nitrile gloves
  • Up to 2 hours of seated computer work
  • Hand pinch grip twisting movement.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. and transfer that weight at waist height or knee height.
  • Push/Pull 200lb metal boxes on wheels.
  • Stand and kneel on ergonomic mats over concrete.
  • Climb and descend 4 to 5 steps.

 

The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm. 

 

Starting pay for this position is $32.84/hour.

 

Who You Are: 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of electrical and wiring experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with inspection and general tool maintenance
  • Knowledge and safe use of hand tools
  • Mass spectrometer and gas purity analyzer knowledge
  • SAP experience
  • Self-starting and motivated individual
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment while following safety and process controls
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Experience interpreting and following written and verbal work instructions, mechanical and electrical schematics and engineering mechanical and point to point wiring drawings
