Manager - Market & Competitive Intelligence

We are looking for a Market & Competitive Intelligence Manager to generate market, customer and competitor insights for commercial teams across APAC. The Manager will be responsible for building a research and insights’ community in APAC  to enable a sustainable competitive advantage. To be successful in this role, you should have industry experience, a curious and analytical mind, and excellent research and communication skills.


Your role:

Market Insights: Contribute to conducting competitive intelligence and market research studies for Life Sciences in APAC, with an analytical mindset and strong focus on quantitative measures of market situation, potential, trends and opportunities. Monitor and track market/competitor/customer intelligence on an ongoing, timely basis; Manage market intelligence & competitor benchmarking studies and develop reports on market opportunities/conditions, market potential, future trends, opportunities and actionable recommendations tailored to stakeholder needs; Build and nurture community of internal subject matter experts across countries to identify APAC-relevant research sources/databases and share insights for best-practice sharing


Customer Insights & Special Projects: Drive customer insights-related projects in APAC: Support Commercial Marketing teams on special projects related to market trends, competitor & customer insights to enable sales growth; Coordinate with global and country teams for timely rollout of customer experience surveys; present and discuss key results with regional/country teams to enable actionable recommendation


Who you are :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Science preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience with a top-tier market research firm, business/strategy consulting firm or insights role within the Life Science industry
  • Highly analytical; demonstrated research and insight-generation capabilities with stakeholder-oriented mindset
  • Exellent command of English (written and verbal), ability to communicate and present effectively to a wide variety of audiences with impact
  • Collaborative, able to work in a matrixed environment and build cross-functional relationships at global/regional/country-level
  • Proactive, resourceful, works independently and with good attention to detail
  • Role location is flexible and can be based anywhere in Asia Pacific
