IT Infrastructure Purchase Requisition and Invoicing Expert

Location: Bangalore - Electronic City

Shift time: Rotating shifts

 

Your role:

 

  • Monitor the due dates on the IT-I Cost Book to trigger the creation of ~1300 Purchase Requisitions annually
  • When Purchase Requisitions become due, the individual will work with Service Delivery Managers to obtain renewal quotations from suppliers and trigger the approval workflow for authorization of the expenditure
  • Open Purchase Requisitions (in multiple ERP systems) once the initial request has been approved
  • Track invoicing activities against opened POs
  • Perform other duties and activities associated with the Request to Invoice process in IT-I

 

Who you are:

  • Strong financial background. Experience managing infrastructure cost in a complex multi-sector, multi-ERP, multi-legal entity environment
  • Experience with procurement processes and controls
  • Experience managing financial aspects of infrastructure supplier agreements
  • Project management experience in a complex matrix environment within a global organization
  • Experience leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives

  • Solid communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills. Ability to drive consensus / set mutually agreeable goals
  • Solid understanding of industry standard IT infrastructure platforms, terminology, and leading providers, including Network, Telecommunications, Cloud, Datacenter, Server & Storage
  • Ability to break complex problems into manageable tasks
  • Solid skills in mastering the standard MS Office tools (especially MS Excel and MS Access)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • English language proficient
