SDM and DH Technical Expert (f/m)

Service and project support for OSI Data Historian, Discoverant, Statistica, Simca, Pipeline Pilot, Matrikon DH

Roles & Responsibilities:

- 1st and 2nd level support for Discoverant Business Service: incident/service request management, problem management incl. root cause analysis and CAPA management, change request management, monitoring, trouble shooting of application interfaces on request
- SPOC for solution provider for 3rd level support, coordination of solution provider Biovia-Dassault Systems
- Reporting and monitoring of SLA targets
- Assist Project Manager to order infrastructure
- Write project delivery documentation (IQs, Technical specs, IT Risk Analysis…)

Qualification, Skills & Experience:

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft server platform (i.e. MS Windows Servers, Active Directory, Citrix, …)
- Profound troubleshooting skills for Discoverant, Oracle PL/SQL, WEB application
- Basic knowledge of network, firewall, IT Architecture and Technology,
- Good knowledge of Merck IT processes (ITIL based) and tools (e.g. ServiceNow, HPSM, JIRA,..)
- Experiences in Pharmaceuticals Business and Manufacturing processes; Preferred: BI experiences
- Fluent in English
- Good teamwork capability and customer orientation

Specific Information related to the position:

- BA / MA informatics or scientific background with strong informatics background
- 2-5 years’ experience as Discoverant business analyst or project manager
- Experience to work in international teams including European countries
- Experience work as commercial software developer or work with third party software developers
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, or pharmaceutical Process Development experience in general is a plus
