Tech Lead - Chatbots and Conversational AI

       We are looking for a highly motivated individual, passionate about chatbots and conversational AI solutions, who enjoy working with high-end technologies to join the MITC. As a Lead for Chatbots and Conversational AI solutions, you will focus on developing impactful and innovative chatbot solutions for Organization, partnering with business stakeholders across the globe.



  • You will partner with our business stakeholders across Organization to identify opportunities to drive business solutions.
  • Partner with leaders from across the business to translate the company's business objectives, market opportunities & portfolio of offerings into a formal, cohesive global commercial strategy
  • Guide the team in building chatbots, perform an evaluation of use cases, challenge requirements, develop scalable solutions from an enterprise view
  • Study effectiveness of one or more chatbot(s) to identify areas of improvements in conversational flows with users
  • Support build of new skills, intents, entities, and conversation flows based on user requirements
  • Use chatbot data like failures, deflection rate, and confidence levels to identify training needs for chatbot
  • Review sample conversational flows, customer utterances, chatbot responses and capture areas of improvement
  • Add new utterances, synonyms to existing and new intents to train the chatbot
  • Align utterances to intents where the confidence levels are low to enable chatbot learning
  • Partner with business teams to understand what intents/utterances need to be added
  • As an expert in VA/chatbots, coach other team members and the community of chatbot trainers across people operations
  • Be aware of metrics for deflection from VA services, quality of conversations, response time, and other success criteria for the chatbots
  • Support Chatbot initiatives with efficiency, keep them future relevant by suggesting and performing enhancements.
  • Continually evaluate the use of the right technologies to be used which can enhance the user chatbot experience.




  • 7+ years of total experience with 5+ years of hands-on experience in building highly scalable end-to-end conversational interface solutions.
  • 2+ years of programming experience with preferably Node.js.
  • Should have implemented enterprise projects at a large scale with Google Dialog Flow.
  • Experience in leading teams which built and deployed multichannel chatbots is mandatory.
  • Experience in building multilingual chatbots which are deployed across geographies is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various chatbot technologies like Dialog flow/Amazon Lex/Luis.ai
  • Demonstrated competency in navigating through structured as well as unstructured internal client business settings
  • Ability to work well with business analysts, programmers, vendors, and end-users in cross-functional teams
  • Good analytical skills and should be able to grasp existing systems and propose solutions accordingly
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or consulting
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and focused on delivering value quickly.
  • Experience with open-source chatbot libraries like RASA is highly preferable but not mandatory.
