Digital Marketing Expert - Social Media

Location:  This position is flexible on location and could be based in USA (Boston or St. Louis) or Europe (Darmstadt, Germany or Molsheim, France). 

 

Your Role:

 

We are seeking a Social Media Expert with strong experience working collaboratively with stakeholders to create high quality, effective and compelling paid social campaigns.  As part of our Process solutions Digital Center of Excellence, and reporting into the Head of Digital Demand Generation you will be responsible for providing best in class framework and digital best practices to our partners in Global Marketing Communications team as well as collaborating with local/regional digital marketing experts to translate business goals into successful social media approaches and adapt based on the metrics collected.  

 

  • Expanding the reach of our social media content to drive full funnel engagement and use each of the social media platforms to meet business objectives
  • Oversee content creation and advertising for global social media channels (LinkedIn, FB, Twitter, YouTube) working with the existing Marketing Communications teams to develop content for each social network, define impactful KPIs and measure for actionable insights and refine/adjust accordingly
  • Provide channel expertise and setting best practices for the business and regions to follow through execution of social media related activities and drive acquisition and attraction of customers online  
  • Implement a social media strategy in alignment with the business area objectives and with the customer need at the core of the plan.

 

 

Who You Are: 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree in any discipline
  • 3+ years of experience driving paid and unpaid social media strategy and tactics
  • 2+ years of experience with digital /IT tools including but not limited Sprinklr
  • 2+ years of experience social media monitoring tools, Google Analytics/Data Studio

  • Confident independent and proactive decision maker within own field of expertise, capable of interacting, influencing and establishing strong relationships with relevant internal stakeholder managers / directors
  • Possess an outstanding "can do" attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage various tasks simultaneously
  • Able to meet the challenges of a fast-paced, high energy environment, while maintaining a strong level of professionalism, interpersonal communication, proactive problem solving and critical attention to quality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong ability to work in a global matrix environment
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Open mind to build up & establish new structures. Curious, creative and innovation driven
  • Demonstrated ability to influence in a matrix organization
  • Ability to be extremely responsive to internal and external customer needs
  • Willingness and ability to perform global travel on a limited basis
  • Understanding of the Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical Business Environment
