Medical Manager, Real World Evidence Strategy and Analytics

Your role:

This position is to develop RWE strategy and planning, and to lead local RWE projects as part of local data generation activities

 

  • Develop RWE strategy (short- and medium-term) for each TA in alignment with MASP
    • Identify evidence gaps, drives & manages delivery of the respective RWE plan with responsibility for budget and timeline
    • Manages delivery of all RWE initiatives that meet predefined quality threshold and achieve set targets
  • Lead the RWE projects and leverages best practices, experiences & knowledge, ensure quality and timeline
    • Initiate RWS concept, design and data collection
    • As the main responsible of RWE projects, work with cross-functional team to ensure project implementation on track and with good quality
    • Manages the appropriate relationships and service levels with external vendors on RWE implementation
    • Explore and evaluate database and big data resources, HCO, agencies for future collaboration
  • Generate data using innovative approaches, such as big-data
    • Provide support to TA initiated studies on STAT and study design if needed
    • Uses advanced analytical skills to solve complex topics and proactively identifies solutions to problems or bottlenecks, supports TA in developing innovative approaches and perspective regarding data generation
  • Create workable system to track, collect and analyze real world data
  • Evaluate external databases that can be used for RWE generation and convert to RWE project if possible
  • Contribute to studies initiated from TA such as traditional CST & ISS
  • Maintain strong and stable scientific exchange with RWE expert
  • Impacts the engagement with stakeholders internally at director level within medical, externally with key opinion leaders and investigators, by data generation through RWE generation activities
  • Facilitates and drives forward the implementation of high quality RWS with internal study team members (e.g. Medics, Biostats Lead, etc.), contributing to the RWE strategy and execution
  • Identifies both internal and external knowledge gaps; design, develop, and deliver training to address identified gaps Initiate improve elements to process

 

Who you are:

  • Academic (MD, master, PhD is preferable) degree in epidemiology from an internationally recognized university or equivalent professional experience
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience in an international Pharma/ Biotech setting in RWE function
  • Proven track record of successful RWE projects either in Pharma/ Biotech company or medical agency
  • Familiar with clinical study
  • Familiar or having collaborated with big data company is a plus
