Your Role

  • Lead the strategic commercialization initiatives for the emerging business field of targeted mRNA delivery CDMO services
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset, be able to work independently and proactively
  • Develop a holistic commercial strategy and implementation plan aligned with overall company goals
  • Identify and develop leads, engage and negotiate with customers
  • Collaborate closely with R&D scientists to understand technological requirements and gaps
  • Connect effectively with customers and stakeholders in the biotech sector, particularly in gene therapy
  • Refine the business model and influence R&D initiatives based on market dynamics, and drive impact without direct authority

 

Location: Billierca, MA; Onsite min 1x week (Hybrid)

Travel: <20%, International and Domestic

 

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree with minimum of 8 years in commercial roles, preferably within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or CDMO sectors, with a strong focus on mRNA and lipid nanoparticle technologies OR
  • MS Degree with 6 years in a commercial role or PhD/MBA with 5 years in commerical role

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (PhD, MBA, or equivalent) 
  • Customer Engagement: Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the biotech sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with the mRNA LNP field and established connections within the biotech industry preferred.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies for emerging business areas.
  • Collaboration Skills: Experience working with R&D teams to understand technological advancements and translate them into commercial opportunities.
  • Implementation: Ability to initiate and follow through, focus on accomplishing pre-defined targets
