Your Role
Targeted mRNA delivery (TMD) is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Scientist or Senior Scientist to join our team, with a focus on high throughput and automated formulation workflows. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and optimizing LNP formulation and characterization platforms, integrating automation technologies to support high throughput screening and data generation efforts. You will thrive in a collaborative environment dedicated to advancing high throughput formulation strategies and generating high-quality data to support predictive modeling, with the goal of accelerating the discovery and optimization of LNP delivery systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and refine high throughput LNP formulation workflows using liquid handling platforms.
- Develop and optimize automated analytical assays to characterize LNP properties (e.g., size, PDI, encapsulation efficiency, surface charge, etc.)
- Support NGS high throughput screening campaigns by formulating barcoded mRNA-LNPs, ensuring reproducibility and traceability of complex datasets.
- Collaborate closely with cross-function teams including biology, digital and technology development teams to generate high-quality data for predictive modeling.
- Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of automation workflows, including scripting, process development, method validation for robotic platforms.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic lab notebooks and contribute to SOPs, documentation and presentations.
- Analyze experimental data, troubleshoot formulation issues, and effectively communicate findings in team meetings.
