Your Role

We are on the lookout for an energetic and visionary Senior Scientist to join our dynamic LNP Discovery team within the mRNA Targeted Delivery group! In this exciting role, you will leverage your deep knowledge of LNP formulation and analytical development to drive groundbreaking research that shapes the future of therapeutic applications. Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute research projects focused on advanced analytical characterization for LNP formulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative technologies to trailblaze the discovery of new LNP technologies and therapeutics
- Establish and maintain productive collaborations and oversee and coordinate projects with CROs
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in LNP formulation and analysis.
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in LNP research.
Location: Billerica, MA, USA; Onsite
Travel: <10%; International and Domestic travel as required by business
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
- MS in a related life science or engineering discipline with a Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in LNP development OR
- PhD in a related life science or engineering discipline with a Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in LNP development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of LNP-related research engagement.
- In-depth knowledge of nanoparticle analyses, including familiarity with advanced light scattering techniques, various spectroscopic techniques, DSC, SAXS/SANS, and liquid chromatography.
- Extensive knowledge of various LNP formulation processes, including targeted LNP formulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
