Your Role:

The US Value & Access team (V&A) has a shared vision to create and maintain optimal product access and availability across the portfolio that supports patient care. The Director, Strategic Enterprise Initiatives and Enablement is a key member of the Value & Access leadership team with specific decision making and areas of focus, responsible for driving enterprise-level strategic initiatives and enabling operational excellence across the organization. This role serves as a trusted advisor to the SVP, ensuring alignment of priorities, seamless execution of strategic projects, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

 

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Lead the development and implementation of short- and long-term strategic initiatives that advance Value & Access objectives.
  • Partner with the SVP and leadership team to translate vision into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Monitor external trends and internal performance to inform strategic decisions.
  • Serves as a strategic thought partner with the US V&A Sr. Vice President, providing high-level support associated with complex problems, current and future initiatives, strategies, and budgets
    • Work closely with V&A LT to prepare and coordinate updates for SVP by synthesizing information and ensuring alignment.

 

Enterprise Enablement:

  • Design and implement frameworks, processes, and tools that enhance organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Drive change management initiatives to support evolving business needs and priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Executive Support & Governance:
  • Provide high-level strategic support to the SVP, including preparation of executive briefings, presentations, and business cases.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, town halls, and engagement activities to align teams and communicate priorities.
  • Serve as a liaison between Value & Access leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Generates strategic insights based on best-in-class analysis, distills outputs and recommendations which enable informed decisions of top-level leaders.
  • Ability to monitor and assess external trends to inform and educate stakeholders and stay abreast of macro trends in the healthcare environment, therapeutic area markets and brand business drivers. A critical aspect of this role is the ability to work seamlessly across the EMDS enterprise (both within and outside V&A and form a strong partnership with commercial) and coordinate the input of stakeholders.
  • Work with the GPA team to assess the potential implications of new or proposed policy changes on our inline and pipeline products.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Demonstrates collaborative leadership and influence necessary to ensure alignment among key stakeholders and seamless execution of project deliverables including but not limited to: Value & Access, Patient Solutions, Pricing & Contracting, Commercial, Medical Affairs, and NEVD teams. Build strong partnerships with HR, Finance, Legal, and Government Affairs to support enterprise initiatives.

 

Performance & Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes, improve resource utilization, and enhance team productivity.
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards to track progress on strategic initiatives and operational goals.

 

Talent Development & Engagement:

  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design efforts.
  • Champion initiatives that position Value & Access as a destination for top talent and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Other duties as assigned

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS) preferred.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with expertise in Market Access, Commercial Strategy, or related functions. Proven track record in strategic planning, project management, and organizational transformation. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing without authority.

Pay Range for this position: $145,000 - $260,300

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
