Your Role

We are seeking an R&D Scientist to join our Semiconductor Solutions R&D team. In this role, you will work with a team of scientists to provide advanced material solutions to the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organic and inorganic chemistry and a passion for material research and development.
 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and synthesize new organic and inorganic materials for Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs) for next-generation semiconductor devices
  • Optimize formulation, process, synthesis, and purification of materials
  • Characterize materials to establish quality-controlled products
  • Investigate material/formulation & process systematically, solve issues, and guide the project's development
  • Compile data on time and support the introduction of products to customers
  • Manage and lead research subjects assigned by the team leader
  • Complete routine lab duties and instrument maintenance

 Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Surface Chemistry, or other scientific disciplines
  • 3 + years of experience with chemical synthesis and analysis

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD Degree in Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Surface Chemistry, or other scientific disciplines
  • Experience with organometallics, nanoparticles, or dispersion technology
  • Proficient in materials characterization and hands-on experience with spectroscopy (FTIR, UV-vis, NMR), thermal analysis (TGA and DSC), and microscopic techniques (SEM, AFM, and TEM)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team, learn, and adopt new concepts or techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation abilities
  • Self-motivated with good attention to detail and capable of setting priorities
