Program Manager of Planning & Strategy

A strong candidate with a background in Project and Program management. You would possess strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. You would be very energized, motivated by change, and driven to enhance the PS Analytics Center of Excellence and team communication, collaboration, and execution. This individual would have high business acumen, be comfortable working with business leaders as well as enjoys cross-functional and cross regional core team activity management. 

 

Your Role:  

Key role in building and growing the PS Analytics Center of Excellence/governance process, manage communication, roadmaps, meeting structure, core team engagement, and supporting documentation through a change management strategy that complements the digital strategy and ACE (Life Science Analytics Center of Excellence).  Managing pipeline/demand of PS analytics use cases, dashboard requests, and strategic projects with a focus on prioritizing high-value activities. Highlight risks with resources, skills, and/or processes.  Identify opportunities to synergize and improve cross-team interactions within Process Solutions analytics teams, ACE, Global Data Strategy, Digital Strategy Empowerment board, Commercial, Marketing, IT & other partner teams, as appropriate, understanding unique needs per business unit and/or regions.  Formalize our key metrics and dashboard content around our Analytics Center of Excellence efforts.  Manage the collection of Quarterly Business Review content, assemble, analyze, and interpret actions required to meet critical success criteria.  Act as an Intranet site room manager (EVA) for up-to-date communications.  Contribute to the development of a digital upskilling program that equips the organization with the knowledge, capabilities, and mindsets required to launch, execute, and scale digital & data initiatives  

 

 

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS degree with 5+ years of experience or MS with 3+ years experience
  • Strong organization and project management skills - proven experience managing global project deployments
  • Experience in an analytics-focused team environment and/or possessing an understanding of digital strategy and/or data-driven cultures
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word proficiencies
  • Perform global travel on a limited basis (~ 15-20%) post covid
  • Strong ability to manage work across multiple time zones
  • Ability to speak English required

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile / Scrum Certifications (CSM/CPO Cert. a plus) and/or PMI, ITIL, Six Sigma Training (Preferred)
  • Experience visualization tools (i.e., Tableau) or willingness to learn
  • Experience with short video communications creation a plus
  • Experience working with multi-function business processes (sales, marketing, services, pricing, operations, etc.)
  • Experience in a business/strategy consulting role beneficial
  • Critical thinker – able to apply objective analysis of facts before concluding
  • Able to meet the challenges of a fast-paced, high energy environment, while maintaining a strong level of professionalism, interpersonal communication, proactive problem solving, and critical attention to quality
