Job Title: Global System Owner - Burlington, MA

Your Role: As part of the digital transformation of the Life Science business, we are in the process of implementing advanced digital technologies into our manufacturing and quality control operations.  We are now actively implementing these key technologies across multiple plants worldwide as global platforms.  To effectively manage these strategic platforms, we are seeking a well-qualified Global Business Owner.  This newly created role will work with a high degree of autonomy to advance Life Science Digital initiatives through these platforms.  The following are key responsibilities of a Global Business Owner:

 

  • Serve as responsible Global System Owner, SME, and Global Lead for Labvantage LIMS.
  • Lead the process of combining business process and system functions into working solutions to meet business needs.  Author and defend business cases as required.
  • Chair Global Governance Committees for each system.
  • In collaboration with global validation, global quality and affected manufacturing sites, actively gather and document global system requirements and manage related validation documentation.
  • Actively lead new site implementations and current site enhancements, in collaboration with global IT, Validation, and Quality colleagues.
  • Manage and align system roadmaps with all manufacturing clusters, including potential interfaces with adjacent systems (e.g., ERP, MES, Data Lake).
  • Facilitate communication with project sponsors, IT and suppliers to ensure the business customer’s requirements are translated into detailed design specifications,
  • Organize and manage functional process review and improvements, work as a liaison with IT to recommend and implement potential solutions
  • Organize and manage system development, testing, change releases and related processes.
  • Manage system end user trainings.
  • Trains subject matter experts (SME’s) in the use of new functionalities and updated system configurations.
  • Develop analytical capabilities through which data collected or generated through the LIMS may be leveraged for maximum business benefit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Who You Are:

 

 Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree with emphasis in process engineering, computer science, or data science preferred.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of cross functional process, system management and system implementation experience.
  • Technical experience in defining business requirements, functional specifications, implementation and validation of these systems.
  • Labvantage LIMS – QC Lab experience helpful.  Computer science and/or Computer System Validation background also preferred.
  • Role requires ability to work in a matrixed environment with demonstrated ability to influence and manage w/o authority.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills at all organizational levels required.
  • Experience of working in regulated environments including ISO 9001, 13485, and/or cGMP environments preferred.
