Head of Product Data & Content (Manager)

Your Role:

Manager-level position. As part of the Digital Category Management team, you and your team are responsible for driving a global product information management strategy. This starts by understanding and articulating our current product data attributes, data structure and taxonomy across a wide range of life science product categories, and where and how we can transform our data ecosystems to serve a better customer experience, increase product findability, conversion rate and topline. Along with deep performance analytics, you would then define the vision for product data and the roadmap of how to achieve this vision through technology assessment, the transformation and ownership of the product information management solution, continuous product data enrichment and the implementation of clear guidance, roles & responsibility. Your roadmap is comprised of improvements to our on-going operations as well as high-value initiatives that you then lead through implementation in collaboration with our eCommerce teams and business partners.

 

Strong candidates will have demonstrated a track record of leading a team of product data and content specialists as well as managing product information related to a large portfolio of products and services. Additionally, the right fit for this position has expertise in Product Information Management Solutions, UX/UI, eCommerce best practices and web analytics. You will have the opportunity to drive change in a dynamic digital ecosystem and fast-growing eCommerce organization while managing efficient operations and an engaged team.

Who you are:

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Science or similar discipline. MS, MBA or Ph.D. in similar fields is a plus
  • 8+ years of eCommerce and Digital Marketing experience with minimum 5 years working in hands-on product information management, information architecture and/or web asset management roles
  • 5+ years of experience with data and analytics and/or Business Intelligence and associated tools, such as: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tableau, Data Studio
  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple complex projects in a deadline-driven environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience building and leading high-performing teams
  • Ability to present complex analytical information in a succinct and compelling manner to senior leadership
  • Close attention to detail, with an overall passion for continuous process improvement
  • Experience managing stakeholders and creating alignment across diverse perspectives
  • Demonstrated track record of driving product initiatives from conception to launch and ensuing iterations
