Laboratory Assistant

Your Role: 

MilliporeSigma in Burlington, MA is seeking a Laboratory Assistant.  This role plays a vital role in supporting our laboratory operations, focusing on sample product management and inventory oversight. You will manage customer product samples in accordance with established processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, you will oversee the inventory of lab consumables and maintain the cleanliness and organization of sterile materials. The purpose of this role solves the challenge of maintaining high-quality laboratory standards by ensuring efficient sample management and adherence to safety protocols. Currently, our team consists of 32 members spanning laboratory, project management and quality roles.  

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED and 2+ years laboratory experience

OR

• Bachelor’s degree in any Scientific field

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration.
• Proficiency in aseptic techniques and good laboratory practices 
• Solid understanding of sterilization procedures and safety protocols
• Commitment to data integrity and good documentation practices
• Ability to demonstrate a pragmatic and results-oriented approach to tasks 
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn within a dynamic environment
• Ability to adapt to changes in processes and organizational structures 
• Positive attitude and foster respectful interpersonal relationships 

Pay Range for this position: $23.00 - $36.00/hour

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
