Your Role:
As a North America Mobility & Immigration Partner, you will lead the delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of the company’s Global Immigration and Domestic Relocation programs across the Americas. In this role, you will serve as the primary subject matter expert and point of contact on all immigration and cross‑border mobility matters, providing strategic guidance to HR, Talent Acquisition, business leaders, and employees. You will oversee complex case management, ensure rigorous regulatory compliance, drive policy development, and manage third‑party providers to maintain a high‑quality service delivery model. This position combines deep technical expertise with program ownership, proactive problem‑solving, and operational excellence to support compliant and efficient mobility across the region.
Program Governance & Policy Execution:
- Manage and execute Global Immigration and Domestic Relocation policies in alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for all North America immigration matters, handling assessments, case strategies, risk escalations, site visits, and coordination with external counsel. Lead the development and management of domestic relocation policies and cases, ensuring fairness, consistency, and alignment with business needs. Maintain audit readiness and documentation standards while educating teams on compliance best practices.
Immigration Case Management:
- Manage end-to-end immigration casework for Non-Immigrant (L1, H1B, O1, J1) and Immigrant (EB1, EB2, EB3) visa processes. Evaluate visa options for new hires and employee transfers, offering guidance on timing, eligibility, and risk. Monitor case progress, resolve delays or RFEs, and ensure efficient, compliant workflows. Serve as a central resource for employment authorization and cross-border mobility across multiple countries.
Stakeholder Consultation, Advisory & Education:
- Provide expert guidance on immigration regulations and policy updates to HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, hiring managers, candidates, and employees. Conduct training sessions, presentations, and enablement meetings on immigration and domestic relocation topics. Offer strategic immigration advice through individual consultations with employees and departments to support hiring and retention. Translate complex immigration regulations into clear, practical guidance.
Compliance, Data Management & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, filings, and immigration data within internal systems. Ensure compliance with USCIS regulations, including work authorization tracking, reverification, and Form I-9 processes. Conduct periodic audits of employee data to verify completeness and adherence to regulatory requirements. Provide monthly reports to the business and Legal teams.
Continuous Improvement, Projects & Vendor Management:
- Identify service gaps and recommend improvements to optimize delivery models, workflows, and employee experience. Lead priority projects from proposal through execution to ensure successful outcomes. Manage third-party vendors, ensuring compliance, performance, and adherence to service agreements. Utilize data insights to track trends, streamline processes, and support scalability. Perform additional duties as needed to enhance overall program effectiveness.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and 5+ years of experience in US/Canadian Corporate Immigration/Global Mobility
OR
- Associate’s Degree in any discipline and 7+ years of experience in US/Canadian Corporate Immigration/Global Mobility
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong presentation and communication skills in a multifunctional and multicultural team
- Strong understanding of U.S. and international work authorization frameworks and regulatory compliance requirement
- Comprehensive knowledge of immigration/employment related laws, regulations, and procedures, such as H-1B, H-1B CAP, L-1, TN, J-1, F-1 and permanent residence cases
- Strong analytical, research, and critical‑thinking abilities, with sound judgment in complex decision‑making situations
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and collaboratively with HR, TA, Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders
- Independent, proactive working style, demonstrating ownership and reliability
- Quick learner and curious about discovering new trends in Global Mobility
- Client-oriented and strong forward-thinking mindset
- High level of analytical and conceptual thinking ability
- Ability to function in a global work environment
- Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Pay Range for this position: $75,400 - $113,000
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
