Your role:

As part of the Process Solutions eCommerce team, and in strong collaboration with the different Process Solutions businesses, eBusiness and IT organizations, you are the go-to individual for delivering on the digital product roadmap for one of Process Solutions most critical customer facing portals.

The Process Solutions Customer Portal will elevate our customers’ experience delivering a personalized, integrated, and self-service-focused experience across Process Solutions digital touchpoints.

 

As Product Owner Customer Portal, you:

  • shape and drive the portal life cycle across strategy, requirements, internal and external customer validation, development (infrastructure, backend, frontend), launch, and operationstions. Bring the expertise and collaboration skills needed to bridge customer, business, and technology needs to deliver continuous product value
  • collaborate with Business Partners to develop customer-driven product roadmap ideas and break them down into epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria ready for implementation.
  • ensure customer focus and validation throughout the product development lifecycle.

 

As a key member of the agile product development team, you drive backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release management activities with the eBusiness team of developers, designers, business analysts, and scrum master.

Leveraging strong collaboration with commercial and analytics teams you feed insights and optimization areas into the product backlog for continuous improvement.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer focus and validation throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Maintain and adjust relevant customer journey maps
  • Collect, prioritize, refine, and validate user and business requirements
  • Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications (epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria) that capture the goals of the end user and provide clear direction for the design and development teams.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, and UX/UI teams to develop assets for features and enhancements
  • Review wireframes and designs for alignment with business objectives
  • Participate and represent Process Solutions business needs in essential Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, demos, etc.
  • Partner with analytics team to report on digital product KPIs, incorporating new insights and priorities into the roadmap as appropriate.
  • Be an active participant in business reviews, providing results and insights from KPIs and consumer engagement.
  • Embrace an agile, iterative mindset by breaking down product roadmap items into epics, features and stories and prioritizing them strategically into sprints and releases

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in science, engineering or business
  • Knowledge of the life science, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated business environment
  • 6+ years experience in Digital and/or eCommerce related functions
  • Ability to travel globally (up to 20%)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Master’s degree in science, engineering or business
  • 10 + years experience in Digital and eCommerce related functions
  • A mix of experience in B2C and B2B is a plus
  • Understanding of digital product technical infrastructure: back end, systems, data sources, architecture
  • Experience with delivering and driving performance for an eCommerce digital product
  • Experience evaluating UX wireframes and UI deliverables, familiarity with industry best practices
  • SCRUM master certification and/or experience
  • Experience with consumer-facing web applications and eCommerce (i.e. eCommerce platforms/CMS; AEM)
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Salesforce and other eCommerce, project management and ticketing software platforms
  • Previous work experience within a multi-national, multi-cultural matrix environment with experience in change management
  • Superior problem solving, systematic approach and analytical skills with ability to adapt
  • Confident, independent decision maker within own field of expertise
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • Capable of interacting, influencing and establishing strong relationships with relevant internal stakeholder managers / directors
  • Excellent command of English (written and verbal), with a proactive and assertive approach and ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences with impact
