Your Role:
As Senior Corporate Counsel, Life Science for the Advanced Solutions business area, you will primarily serve as a Legal business partner to the global Diagnostics & Regulated Materials (DxRM) organization, and other business as assigned. You will provide a full range of legal support for these groups, including drafting and negotiating various agreements, providing guidance to management on relevant legal and business matters, reviewing, evaluating and advising internal clients on process and operational improvements, identifying and mitigating risk, coordinating and managing outside counsel as necessary, and advising and training colleagues and internal clients on related legal issues and best practices.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
- JD and admission to practice law in your location
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience working at large law firm or multinational corporate legal department
- Knowledge of the biopharmaceutical, medical device or life science industry
- Experience in commercial contracting matters and international business transactions
- Excellent communication and pragmatic problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact well with senior management and colleagues in matrixed, global organization
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment requiring collaboration with multiple stakeholders
- Flexible mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with customer-facing negotiations
- Experience in life science industry
- Experience handling procurement matters
Location: Position is preferably located in Burlington, MA, USA; another location may be considered within the United States
Travel: <10%; International and Domestic
Pay range for this position: $159,200.00 - $238.800.00
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
