Senior Portfolio Manager

Your Role:

You will be defining and conducting key portfolio analysis including R&D program spending, pipeline progress, and  output of Board, LSET and SMI level presentations. 

  • Development of a solid story line is critical for ensuring R&D is funded adequately. Ensures story is solid, and data is accurate.
  • Manages reporting on a complex portfolio of programs and projects
  • Facilitates the Roadmapping Scenario Planning and OP Program Spend.  Participates in Roadmapping Franchise Planning and works across the R&D and PM Heads to ensure scenario planning content is complete, and options are presented.
  • Takes initiative towards portfolio value optimization – highlights key trends, risks and improvement opportunities.  Utilizing PMO tools (resource management, portfolio management) provides recommendations and challenges the portfolio according to the strategy to allow management to make the right decisions.


Who You Are:


  • MBA or advanced degree life sciences, chemistry
  • Experience working in a matrix organization managing executive stakeholders
  • Buiness Analyst training and / or certification preferred
  • Background in consulting, business analytics with strong presentation skills
