Your Role:

As a Senior Strategic Product Manager at MilliporeSigma, you lead the global ADC Reactor/Mixer portfolio within the Single-Use and Integrated Systems Business. This critical product line enables mixing applications, including high potency bioconjugation, and process efficiency across biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

 

You hold full P&L accountability, driving both top-line growth and bottom-line profitability. You are responsible for owning and executing the global portfolio strategy, delivering Innovation roadmaps, and shaping commercial execution across various modalities. Operating in a global matrix, you collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, commercial, operations, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to ensure our technologies support the delivery of safe and compliant life-saving biopharmaceuticals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Execution: Drive short- and long-term portfolio growth by executing strategies based on market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and customer pain points to deliver differentiated, high-value solutions.
  • Full Business Ownership: Lead the decision-making process for product line strategy and execution, maintaining full P&L accountability while ensuring business results through pricing, positioning, and promotion.
  • Market and Regional Intelligence: Analyze market trends and customer behaviors to inform global strategy, monitor competitor movements and adapt to regional regulations to strengthen market positioning.
  • Strategic Positioning and Go-to-Market: Develop compelling value propositions and go-to-market strategies that align with target segments and customer needs to accelerate global product adoption.
  • Lifecycle and Roadmap Management: Define and lead the product line roadmap, drive continuous innovation through the Product Development Process (PDP) to create sustained value for the customer.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Orchestrate collaboration across global teams to align strategic goals, anticipate risks, allocate resources effectively, and ensure successful commercial execution.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish and execute operational improvement targets—including lead time, quality, cost, and obsolescence, in collaboration with Portfolio Operations and Value Chain teams.
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as the primary advocate for the customer, resolve escalated issues directly or through subject matter experts to maintain high customer satisfaction and trust.

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to build trust, inspire and guide teams, and drive alignment across a complex organization.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles and financial management to optimize product profitability and P&L performance.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and articulate long-term strategies aligned with business goals and market trends.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams to solve problems and execute initiatives. Experience in developing and launching technical products into regulated biopharmaceutical manufacturing market.
  • Market and Customer Centricity: Ability to identify market trends and customer needs and advocate for innovative, value-add solutions.
  • Experience: 5+ years in product management or business leadership in the bioprocessing or life sciences industry.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel globally up to 20%.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MS, PhD, MBA) in a scientific or business-related field.
  • Deep understanding mixing, antibody and other drug conjugation technologies

 

Pay Range for this position: $125,000 - $191,500

 

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
