Senior Strategic Product Manager, Equipment Standardization

Your Role:

  • Program Leadership: Lead the equipment standardization for Bioprocessing systems in the pharma manufacturing industry. 
  • Develop and maintain a program roadmap with milestones and timelines.
  • Work with equipment product managers and R & D to ensure a streamlined component selction across all equipment type systems.
  • Identify process improvements to reduce time to market and cost of goods sold (CoGs) while maintaining quality and improving supply chain sustainability.
  • Develop strategies to increase customer adoption of solutions, integrating feedback and value drivers. Drive standardization while allowing for necessary customization.
  • Define KPIs to measure program success and prepare reports for senior management on achievements and challenges.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks while ensuring compliance with regulations throughout the program lifecycle.

 

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ strategic product manager experience in equipment standardization or related experience
  • Strong understanding of the Life Science and bioprocessing business or another industry that has gone through standardization before
  • Prior experience in bringing modularity and standardization from complex customized products
  • Ability to travel internationally (up to 10-15%)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, including the ability to build and interpret business and market data and derive strategic plans and actions
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide direction and clarity across the stakeholder groups in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment to drive execution
  • Ability to collaborate and lead within a complex remote international network of functions and multiple stakeholders at the same time (Commercial, R&D, Field Services, Quality, Operations)

 

Located in the US, ideally in MA area

This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses.

 

Pay Range for this position: $79,900 - $172,900
