Your Role:

In this role you will be responsible for the short-term planning and day to day execution of the material flow thru the European Supply Chain. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Optimize the supply chain by balancing service level requirements with cost-effective strategies. The primary focus is to ensure on-time customer deliveries with 100% satisfaction in both service and product, while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

 

  • Working closely with the SBU SC Managers, the individual will evaluate and set replenishment strategies and stocking levels to support customer service levels.

 

  • Support inclusive of raw materials, manufactured finished goods & purchased buy-resell finished goods. The position will also execute the fleet strategy in the form of conversions, new builds and dispositioning of excess fleet utilizing inventory settings for RT planning and the creation of process orders and/or purchase orders for execution

 

  • Responsible for blocked stock activities including disposition. The position will also identify and escalate any potential of at-risk inventory to the Supply Chain Analyst and coordinate the scrapping of any such inventory.

 

  • Manage any expedites for their product lines within region and coordinating with other regions as needed.

 

  • Escalate to the Manager for a decision and to develop an allocation plan when necessary.

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing planning including inventory management and purchasing.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience dealing with large amounts of complex data and customer focus.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP/APO/BI).
  • Knowledge, certification, or membership with APICS.
  • Experience in supply chain or logistics management, operations or product management, or other process-focused business positions, along with knowledge of work processes.
  • Proficiency in advanced planning systems (MRP, RCCP, CP), statistical forecasting tools and models
  • Training/experience with S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Suites.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

$73,300-$109,900 per year
