Your Role:

EMD Electronics is seeking a Product Compliance Specialist. This role is responsible for the central EHS data maintenance for toxicological, ecotoxicological, and physical chemical property information in SAP based on GHS/DG (Global Harmonized System/Dangerous Goods) guidelines.  You will review test reports and determine hazardous classification by GHS and DG.  This position will also involve communication with all stakeholders to provide regulatory solution. 

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Toxicology and 4+ years of experience in regulatory affairs (hazard communication) within the chemical field OR
  • Master’s degree in Chemistry or Toxicology and 2+ years of experience in regulatory affairs (hazard communication) within the chemical field OR
  • PhD in Chemistry or Toxicology and 1+ of experience in regulatory affairs (hazard communication) within the chemical field

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in using UN GHS/DG guidelines and hazard communication  
  • Understanding of the toxicological, ecotoxicological and physical chemical property (test reports)
  • Data analysis capability
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience in operation of SAP EHS system 

 

Pay Range for this position - $49,500 - $148,900

 

Our ranges incorporate all levels and career types available within this specific role, and are derived from relevant industry market data.  Should we decide to make an offer, we will consider several factors, including but not limited to your location, skills, experience, career level, and other job-related factors.  This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; paid time off; and paid holidays; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses.
