Your Role:

 The Production Technician Operator position is a challenging, hands-on, rewarding job opportunity for people who want to join a growing business that offers room for growth and advancement. The Production Technician (Operator) position requires working a rotating 12-hour shift and being able to perform elementary and some complex operations. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Knowledge of hazards of the products, container handling and delivery system operation and successfully complete and document all mandatory EH&S and regulatory training 
  • Complete training relevant to HAZWOPER First Responder Awareness Level
  • Carry out manufacturing operational tasks, including processing of hazardous materials, labeling of waste products and delivering to the proper waste storage area
  • Conduct container change-outs using associated container handling equipment
  • Maintain on-site gas and chemical delivery systems, abatement systems and associated equipment
  • Knowledge of safety requirements on site

Physical Attribute:

  • Occasionally wear a full-face air purifying respirator and other PPE
  • Lift up to 50 pounds cylinders with assistant
  • Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in chemical facilities

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Operational experience in chemical manufacturing industry
  • Experience within the chemical industry
  • Knowledge of safety regulation working around chemicals
