Key Account Manager-Coatings-Midwest Territory

Your Role:


As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sales budget goals by promoting and selling effect pigments and highly innovative functional solutions to Key Accounts and new customers in the coatings, plastics and printing industries. Establishing long term client relationships that result in further developing the business while achieving a high level of client satisfaction through outstanding service and expertise is critical. 


Travel up to 75% of the time. Territory will be the Midwest which will include: Milwaukee, Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis.


An entrepreneurial thinker with strong industry knowledge will be very successful in this role.


Who You Are:


Basic Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Material Science or similar Economics, Business or Science discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in business to business sales in the Coatings industry

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Proactive, entrepreneurial thinking and acting with a strong sense of the coatings market, its competitive landscape and technology trends.
  • Experience in managing global key accounts
