Engineering Technician 3

Your Role

This position will be primarily responsible for the maintenance repairs of manufacturing equipment in the Danvers operations. In this role you will handle maintenance and repair of equipment on production floor. The working hours will be Monday to Thursday from 6:00AM-4:30PM.

  • Responsible for repairing all unscheduled equipment downtime and executing daily change over
  • Completion of daily preventative maintenance generated by MainSaver.
  • Engineering Supports of projects, equipment moves, new equipment validation and existing equipment validation
  • Verify that all preventative maintenance work orders are completed prior to their due date
  • Q.A port validation supports
  • Inventory control of all incoming and outgoing parts/components to ensure that we have adequate supplies to maintain all the equipment in the Mobius Department
  • Supports Process Engineers in troubleshooting of production floor equipment and help Identifies/Isolates problems for further analysis

  • Occasionally lift or move up to 50lbs, with or without accommodation



Who You Are:


Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3+ years’ work experience in a mechanical or electrical field


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or related Mechanical discipline
  • Certification in repairs & maintenance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people at various levels within an organization
  • Sufficient writing skills to compose and edit a variety of documents, with the ability to pay close attention to detail and proofread work carefully
  • Ability to work in a flexible way that allows for changes in assignments and priorities depending upon identified needs of the unit
  • Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills and the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks accurately
  • Good keyboarding skills with experience using Microsoft word processing, spreadsheet and database applications
  • Ability to use hand tools, small power tools and test equipment
  • Ability to work quickly, accurately and independently in a fast-paced environment
