Associate Director Clinical Research Bioelectronics (all genders)

Your Role: We are looking for a highly motivated physician or biomedical scientist (all genders) to join our vibrant team at the Innovation Center in Darmstadt, Germany. Our goal is to develop a novel innovative bioelectronics device for the treatment of COPD and chronic inflammatory conditions. Your task is directed at setting up and executing clinical trials for remote patient monitoring solutions as well as for our innovative bioelectronic devices. In this role, you will be involved to build the clinical development and strategy and prepare early clinical development plans, study concept sheets, and study protocols in collaboration with project team members. The position will interact with principal investigators, CROs, health-authorities, IEC/IRB and key opinion leaders. You will work closely with our pre-clinical and regulatory colleagues, as well as data scientists in the group. In close alignment with the team and the Technical Head of Bioelectronics you will be responsible for the success of various projects at the current frontier of scientific knowledge in bioelectronic medicine at our headquarters in Darmstadt.



Who you are:

  • MD or PhD in life science or a health-related field, preferred MD with clinical experience in internal medicine/ pulmonology
  • Ideally a minimum of few years clinical research experience, previous involvement with clinical trial execution
  • Knowledge of ICH/GCP
  • High affinity to digital medicine, data science and innovation in medicine
  • Basic understanding of clinical statistics
  • Strong team player; able to work within a highly multidisciplinary environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders with diverse backgrounds
