Internship Separation / Preparation of compounds


Your role:

The separation of compounds is important for almost all analytical investigations of complex samples. We develop separations for questions arising from all of business units. The focus of this position is the structure elucidation of unknown trace compounds in pharmaceutical products and other research substances. We use HPLC, SFC, TLC, SEC/GPC and other techniques coupled to UV, RI, MS, ELSD and other detectors for the development of suitable separations. Your job is the development of methods and the preparation of trace compounds from complex mixtures for structural analysis by HR-MS and NMR.

Who you are:

  • Student in Chemistry, Physics or related subjects
  • You are interested in in instrumental analytical methods
  • You have excellent organization and communication skills
  • Good spoken and written German and/or English


Start: September 2019 for 12 months
