Pharmacovigilance Safety Intelligence Manager (all genders)

Your role:  The PV Safety Intelligence Manager will be empowered to provide leadership for implementing changes in the world-wide PV regulation and building relationships with key decision makers globally.  You will lead efficiently continuous improvement projects within the safety quality system or in the global safety organization. You will ensure design, implementation and maintenance the PV Safety Intelligence strategy and global performance and record management. In addition, the position will ensure awareness of changes/updates in PV legislation worldwide, with an analysis of the impact on the Global PV System and implementation. You will lead and ensure the respective communication with stakeholders and the implementation of changes. To define and oversee the standardization and implementation of systems/processes to monitor the regulatory environment for changes that may have an impact on PV processes and goals will also a key task of this role. The position will oversee the strategic assessment of external regulatory changes globally and, to work with subject matter experts within the company, to drive or support the decision-making process


Who you are:

  • University Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Science or equivalent function
  • At least 5 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance, covering a wide variety of areas including clinical development (clinical trials), post-marketing pharmacovigilance
  • Project Management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of GVP quality systems and safety-related regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple situations under time pressure
  • Fluent professional English required, any other EU language appreciated
  • Strong intercultural and team-working skills
  • Excellent written interpersonal, communication, training and presentation skills
  • Rigorous approach to quality and compliance with attention to detail
  • Personal effectiveness and performance/output driven
