Product Manager Bio and Workflow - BSSN GmbH (all genders)

Your role:

The “Connected Lab” team is building digital solutions for the laboratory market with our product portfolio of BSSN Software or LANEXO.

In the role as Product Manager Bio and Workflow, you will partner with our customers, software engineering, marketing and sales to determine the shape and functionality of your workflow product that will be tailored towards specific use cases. You will be reporting to the Head of Science Enablement Tools Franchise and supporting her by developing successful product strategies and be responsible for defining, roadmapping and launching your product. As a product owner, you will provide epics and user stories to your software engineering squad. You will further be a main driver and idea provider for the UI/UX team with which you will be working closely to realize an intuitive and pleasant user journey. Regularly attending customer meetings and presenting your product on fairs and industry meetings will take a considerable amount of your time. Marketing will be a major stakeholder and you will be providing Marketing with the required contents regarding your product.


Who you are:

  • Master’s degree or higher and studies of Life Science subjects, Physics or Mathematics.
  • Several years of professional experience in Product Management, consulting, project management or similar positions in Digital/Pharma/Biotech/Bioprocessing/CRO, ideally with rich GxP experience.
  • Must be comfortable working with different main stakeholders (Customers, internal Business and Software Development) and efficiently taking in their different requirements into the product management process.
  • Must be able to work independently in a complex environment and willing to constantly follow up the product trends in the industry.
  • Eager to develop the future state-of-the-art digital product for life scientists in the lab.
  • Paying close attention to product details, still being able to prioritize and support the organization with prioritizing.
  • Must enjoy working with customers, good listener and communicator. Evangelist for the product and AnIML data standardization in the lab.
  • Fluency in English and German language.
  • Business travel 25%.
