Regulatory Expert - biological materials (all genders)

Your role:

Plan and manage site regulatory functions for materials containing animal by-products and genetically modified organisms.

Maintain site regulatory filings and site registrations. Verify raw materials and products meet regulatory requirements. Determine regulatory requirements in collaboration with international colleagues. Prepare import and export documentation according to regulatory requirements. Interaction with authorities about registrations and regulatory filings. Act as point of contact for related regulatory questions coming from internal and external parties. Support customers and suppliers with guidance and provide training as needed. Develop and maintain process with stakeholders across the company and function as interface. Write SOPs and procedures. Represent Merck in industry associations and on events. Participate in project teams and manage own, defined projects. Help design and use electronical tools, systems and solutions to digitally manage processes


Who you are:

  • Graduate degree or equivalent in life sciences with a strong emphasis in biology.
  • Proficient with digital and electronical information solutions.
  • Experience and interest to work in an international environment
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in German and English. Additional languages are an asset
