Senior Manager Finance - Investment Projects (all genders)

Your role: Our company’s strategy is centered around growth driven to a large degree by organic investments. Therefore, our group invests significant funds into technical, technology, and IT projects as a key driver for future value creation. You are in a team that secures the value generation of our group’s investment projects and is accountable for the group’s overall capital expenditure management.

As Senior Manager Finance - Investment Projects, you assess strategic and large projects resulting in recommendations to the Group CFO and optimal decision-making of the Group Investment Committee. Thereby, you collaborate and review investment projects together with project teams, business sector management, and group function management, e.g. Procurement, Technical Engineering, EHS, IT, and finance management. You support the organization of the Investment Committee including pre-meetings with business sector management, off-cycle approvals via workflows, and Investment Committee meetings with group executives.

In addition, you support the coordination of the Investment Committee task force that initiates global projects on behalf of the Investment Committee as well as lead and assist individual projects and initiatives. Current initiatives are centered around sustainability, planning & reporting systems, governance, and process efficiency.


Who you are:

  • University degree in Business Administration, a scientific, or a technical field
  • 5-10 years of work experience in a global environment with a background in Corporate or Business Controlling, Strategy Consulting, or Financial Advisory
  • Profound experience in evaluating investment projects and financial modeling of business cases; a plus is knowledge or background in CapEx related topics
  • Ability to drive multiple global projects with entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills as well as ability to obtain results through working with people in different organizations and at different levels
  • Affinity and excitement for our businesses – Healthcare, Life Science, Electronics
  • Determination, analytical, and communicative capabilities to change worldwide processes
  • Work attitude characterized by drive, passion, customer focus, and openness
