QC Material Release Technician

Your role: we have an excellent opportunity for a QC Specialist to join our team in Glasgow. As a QC Specialist, you will ensure quarantine materials are received and released for use as per appropriate quality procedures. You will support Inventory Management (IM) and Operations through the timely release of quarantine items into stock, meeting regulatory standards (GxP). Duties of the role also include maintaining appropriate ERP/LIMS system records to ensure material traceability, as required by the quality system; supporting QC efforts in improving control, response and quality of QC BRIQS record management and Doc control; supporting QC with the writing of deviations, change controls and CAPAS. The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with operational, support services and quality assurance personnel will be critical for success in this role.


Who You Are:

  • Previous experience working in a Stores / Quality Control materials release GMP environment is required
  • Working experience from an environmental monitoring / microbiology role would be advantageous
  • Experience of writing technical documents would be highly desirable
  • ERP / SAP or Oracle experience would be preferred; however, training will be provided
  • You must have a strong focus on quality and safety, with competent planning and organisational skills
  • You will be an effective communicator, with developed interpersonal skills and be highly self-motivated, with strong initiative and drive
  • A good standard of written and spoken English, as well as being computer literate is required
