Your Role:
The Manufacturing Systems Specialist will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing operations. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining metrics tracking systems, generating dashboards, and providing training and coaching on operational excellence initiatives.
- Develop and maintain robust metrics tracking systems, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Generate comprehensive dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and metrics for manufacturing operations.
- Provide training and coaching on operational excellence initiatives, focusing on process improvement and waste reduction.
- Utilize MS Excel, Visio, Power BI, and other relevant tools to analyze data and present insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor improvement projects.
- Support the implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodologies, with a preference for candidates holding a green belt or yellow belt certification.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- 2+ years’ experience in developing and maintaining metrics tracking systems and dashboards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (green belt or yellow belt)
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Visio, and Power BI
- Strong understanding of operational excellence and continuous improvement methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to train and coach teams on process improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
