Your Role:

In this role you will receive, sample, coordinate, issue, and move inventory at the facility. You will also support Planning & Logistics, Procurement, Cost Accounting, Manufacturing, QA, Maintenance, and QC Departments by receiving, storing and shipping GMP and non-GMP materials. You will also comply with GMP (FDA), financial (Sarbanes-Oxley), safety (OSHA) and applicable Federal/State guidelines for all departmental activities.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Receive and distribute incoming GMP and non-GMP materials across facilities.
  • Perform raw material and API sampling according to ACM or SOP guidelines, coordinate with QC and Manufacturing, and submit required documentation to QC or QA.
  • Quarantine GMP materials in designated storage locations and transfer released inventory to approved areas following QA authorization.
  • Issue approved components and materials to the Manufacturing Department using pick lists.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts, conduct annual physical inventories, and log transactions, purchase orders, pick lists, and order fulfillments in the Computer Inventory System.
  • Serve as the Generator representative when shipping hazardous waste, safely handle waste materials, and maintain annual hazardous waste training certification and testing compliance.
  • Initiate and complete non-standard tasks, GMP compliance issues, financial reconciliation, and special projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strictly adhere to contamination prevention guidelines by immediately notifying supervisors of any infectious diseases or open lesions prior to entering manufacturing or product areas.

 

Physical Attributes:

  • Exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; risk of electrical shock; explosives and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
  • Lift up to 50-pound containers and move up to100 pound containers.

 

Who You Are:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in any discipline and 1+ years of warehouse, inventory control, or materials management experience.

OR

  • High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of warehouse, inventory control, or materials management experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to define problems, perform investigations, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP.
  • Experience with utilizing proper aseptic techniques.
  • Forklift Driver certification and previous experience in operating a reach truck.

 

Pay Range for this position: $19 - $30 / hour

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
