Account Manager

Your role

The role of the Account Manager - Bio Processing Turkey + for Life Science EMEA is to continually and consistently increase market share and revenues by collaborating with customers to solve their unique challenges; maintain existing business and identify new business opportunities.


As a member of the BioProcessing Turkey team, you will sell a broad portfolio of GMP products including raw materials, filtration and purification technologies, single-use and multi-use process technologies, and services to biopharmaceutical customers. You will deal with companies in the industry to provide critical material products and services used in the development and production of therapeutics.

In this role, you will manage key customers achieving your sales targets and contributing to overall corporate sales and strategic objectives. You will ensure that the quarterly and annual budget for your territory within Turkey is achieved and provide accurate and detailed forecasts. You will identify your customers’ needs, goals, and/or challenges and provide solutions to fulfil their needs through the proper positioning of products, services, and expertise.

You will develop a detailed strategic plan to manage your territory for both short- and long-term revenue growth

You will focus on developing and maintaining an extensive network of contacts within your accounts and beyond; you will Identify and map the key stakeholders and decision-makers around projects and opportunities in your territory. You will monitor all aspects of our business with the customer to ensure the business plan is achieved, customers are delivered in a timely manner and receive appropriate product and application support.

With products, applications, partnership and pricing questions you will increase the company's market presence emphasize differentiation from our Life Science’s department competitors and build upon the company's reputation for excellence.


Who you are

  • You completed a Master degree in Science (preferably in Biology, Biotechnology and/or Biochemistry)
  • You gained minimum 2-5 years sales experience in a pharmaceutical or Life Science environment and have working knowledge of pharmaceutical and biotech drug production processes/unit operations
  • You are customer focused and a strong communicator: affinity to listen, influence and/or sell to all levels of an organization
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal, French and or German is a plus (not mandatory)
  • You are a true team player, also at ease working across functions and remotely with colleagues from other geographies
  • You are flexible and willing to travel within territory (60% customer visits or available on online meetings) and with occasional international travel
