Your Role:
We are seeking a Product Development Engineer 3 to join our Product Industrialization team within MilliporeSigma Process Solutions R&D located at our Jaffrey, NH campus. As part of our R&D organization you will be responsible for the development, validation, and integration of robust device manufacturing processes at the Jaffrey site for new and innovative filtration products used in the Biopharmaceutical industry. You will work cross-functionally with teams that include R&D, Manufacturing, Product Management, Quality and Procurement to drive product ideas through development and validation phases to achieve successful commercialization.
This position requires travel to the Bedford, MA facility as needed.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or other Scientific discipline or Engineering disciplines
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering role
- 2+ years of experience with design of experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis methods
- 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
OR
- Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or other Scientific or Engineering disciplines
- 3+ years in an engineering role
- 2+ years of experience with design of experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis methods
- 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
OR
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or other Scientific or Engineering disciplines
- 1+ years of experience in engineering role
- 2+ years of experience with design of experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis methods
- 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong engineering methodology and problem‑solving skills with a proven ability to design and execute experiments, analyze data, draw sound conclusions, and communicate results clearly in both oral and written formats
- Ability to interpret data quickly and apply insights to make informed, time‑sensitive decisions
- Effective planning and organizational skills
- Communicates well and collaborates effectively across all levels of the organization
- Driven, results‑oriented, and committed to meeting project timelines and internal/external customer expectations
- Understands and adheres to laboratory and manufacturing safety practices
- Experience with process validation, automated or semi‑automated assembly equipment, and test equipment
- Experience in developing and manufacturing filtration devices
- Detail‑oriented, with responsibility for executing trial plans and coordinating testing and evaluation of trial materials
- Solid understanding of manufacturing equipment and control systems
- Comfortable working in GMP and other regulated environments
- Knowledge of Minitab, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
RSREMD
Pay Range for this position: $72,200 - $143,500
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
