Your Role:

Support the plant manager in administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing presentations and reports, and managing correspondence. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll inquiries, resolving issues promptly and effectively. Facilitate effective communication across the organization, providing updates and information to employees regarding policies, procedures, and other relevant matters. Specific Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Effectively monitor and maintain accurate records ensuring compliance with company policies, contracts, and procedures
  • Accurately input and manage data related to key performance indicators, ensuring timely reporting and analysis
  • Provide administrative support to employees, addressing inquiries surrounding payroll and benefits
  • Proactively resolve administrative challenges, contributing to a positive work environment
  • Assist with onboarding new employees, including the preparation of necessary documentation and orientations
  • Effectively maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring easy access to relevant documents
  •  Commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding employee information and company matters

 Who You Are:

 

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

 

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with union regulations and practices, particularly related to payroll and employee relations
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues effectively, working closely with external payroll providers if necessary
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and interaction with employees at all levels
  • Proven track record of identifying problems and implementing effective solutions
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage documentation, schedules, and communications efficiently
  • Proficient in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and familiarity with payroll systems or HR software
  • Strong attention to detail in managing records, reports, and communications to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Ability to build rapport with employees and foster a positive work environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and the dynamic nature of a manufacturing environment

 

$33.00 to $50.00 and hour 

Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data.
