Compliance Officer France (F/H)

Your role:

 

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the Group Legal & Compliance department as Compliance Officer France, based in Lyon.

In coordination with the Sub-Regional Compliance Officer France, Benelux & Global Healthcare Research and close direct collaboration with international colleagues across the global Compliance team, you apply, adjust to the local needs and continuously update/improve all elements of our Group Compliance management system in France, covering our 3 activities, as well as Group Functions.

As trusted strategic business counsellor, you provide guidance and serve as primary point of contact for them for anti-bribery/anti-corruption, anti-money-laundering, and business ethics related questions. You interact directly with all clients under your responsibility including senior management.Among other things, you drive the following compliance portfolio elements : risk assessment, policies & procedures, committees for compliance, training of collaborators, internal controls (incl. interactions management and third-party due diligence/screening process), monitoring & reporting (incl. the French disclosure procedures), and case management.

Your role does not only include the local implementation of global or regional Compliance initiatives, but you will also have the opportunity to participate already in the design phase of such projects. It includes the identification and analysis of the impact of relevant trends, laws and regulations on the compliance management system. You will also be strongly involved in shaping the continuous evolution of the self-regulation framework in the relevant industry associations both at the local and regional levels. You will have an external representation role, i.e. liaison role towards authorities and local pharma associations.

 

Who you are

 

  • At least graduate degree in law (Master II level, Health Law preferred), bar exam preferred, with at least 4 years of professional Compliance experience in the healthcare sector
  • Deep knowledge of applicable laws and industry codes, in particular in the areas of criminal law, anti-bribery/corruption law and healthcare law
  • Excellent project management skills
  • High level of personal integrity
  • A flexible attitude, able to adapt approaches to suit different needs
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and goal oriented
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with a variety of different teams/functions to support them in ensuring the most compliant activity/interaction
  • Fluent in French and English.
