Your Role:

Associate Director, Head of Innovation ADC intermediates

We are seeking an Associate Director, Head of Innovation ADC Intermediates to lead the development of new technologies around intermediates for ADC payloads, high potent API and complex small molecules at our site in Madison, WI. You will drive process and technology improvements, digitalization initiatives and innovation projects to success. The candidate will be responsible for innovation strategy development and implementation, initiating and coordinating innovation projects in alignment with Marketing, Process Development, Manufacturing and Quality functions, ensuring commercialization goals are met. Together with these functions you will also drive an innovation roadmap process delivering on relevant innovation KPIs.

You will lead a team of engaged scientists at our Madison site – your leadership skills are imperative to motivate and develop your team members. With you experience and profound knowledge in leadership skills you will drive the team to the next level of innovation.

 

Who you are:

  • PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related scientific discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in synthesis of complex APIs or Linker/Payload constructs, preferably in a CDMO surrounding.
  • Process understanding and scale up experience is essential
  • Experience in driving digital projects is an add-on.
  • Proven track record of managing innovation projects /technology development to commercialization.
  • Experience in developing and implementing innovation strategies.
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations and Quality Management Systems (QMS) in the pharmaceutical industry is supplementary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong in driving team alignment and team motivation
